Excellent, well-managed moving company
The team at Highland were efficient and knowledgeable. They were not the lowest quote but they delivered what they promised for the price quoted even with issue that arose. All of the staff we dealt with were wonderful. Highly recommend them.

Wonderful experience - Moving from New West to Surrey
Their crew just moved Mom from New West to Surrey and it went soooo well! The packers did a phenomenal job and then the movers capped it off by being respectful, quick, efficient which made for an overall great experience. The whole move went well because of Highland!!!

Smooth Sailing in Our Large Office Move - Pitt Meadows to Langley
We recently used Highland to handle an office move of equipment and furniture from a company we acquired. We did not have time to properly inventory and assess everything and needed Highland to move it over to our existing offices as-is, protecting sensitive and expensive equipment.
Arlene was fantastic to work with, came on site and answered all our questions, and assured us they could manage everything; including the disassembly and reassembly of office cubicles.
Everything went as planned, on the agreed dates and timelines, and within the budget of the quote. The office cubicles we needed reassembled were done by a subcontractor I believe, but Highland took care of everything on their end. The movers themselves were professional, quick, and thorough.
Very happy with our experience. We needed easy, and they made it easy.

Any company who has a front person who has their own fan club does not disappoint. Neither Arlene who came in and gave us an estimate after seeing what we had to move nor the team that followed her on moving day did either. All thoroughly professionals from start to finish and you made it so much easier on us as well as it is hard to move from one location after 10 years and getting to know your great neighbors. In this world you get what you pay for and if you want ease of mind that your valued possessions will arrive at your new place the same way they left your old place, as wrestler LA Knight would say "Let me talk to you, Yeah" give Arlene and the group at Highland a call. I cannot praise the moving crew highly enough - moving with highland the second time within 12 months
We had a short move within North Van. The amount of furniture was limited but Arlene took the time to come any carry out the pre-move survey. She did the survey very professionally and went out of her way to investigate if there were other opportunities regarding dates and potential other small moves within the area to help us out.The team that arrived to move us were nothing short of fantastic. From putting down matting to make sure that they didn't mark the floors to wrapping the furniture they carried out the work quickly and professionally. The new property has an extremely steep driveway but the team that carried out the move, on a very hot day, shifted the furniture effortlessly and rebuilt the large pieces of furniture quickly and with good cheer. I cannot praise the moving team highly enough. The only regret I have is that I did not make a note of their names so am unable to mention them by name.Would we use their services again? DefinitelyWould we recommend their services? Definitely12 months later we have made the same move albeit in the opposite direction ! Having had such a positive experience at our last move I was anticipating a drop off in service. How wrong could I be, this move was even easier. Everything mentioned in my post 12 months ago remains relevant to this move. It was a pleasure working with Arlene and the moving crew.Thanks again Highland for a stress-free move.

I had Highland move my family from North delta to Chilliwack. Showed up on time and ready to work. all 3 guys, (sorry I only remember Norms name ) were extremely professional and hard working. These guys put in a 14 hour day going steady only resting on the drive out. Whole experience was excellent from booking to finish. Not one single thing was damaged. I’d highly recommend.

We were in a situation of having to pack and store our belongings while we secured a new home due to a devastating apartment fire 12 days before Christmas. This was incredibly stressful but in our first meeting with Arlene, we felt her empathy with our situation and we felt we would be taken care of. At the actual packing and moving to storage day, what was a very emotional time as this was our home of 14 years, Jordie and his crew made it so much easier for us with their professional behaviour but mostly, their kindness. So much so, we have requested the same crew for our move-in to our new home!

Job done well - Local move in Surrey
We had a really good experience with the moving company. The original estimate was very high, and we were motivated to reduce the cost by moving some things in advance and also reducing our items to move. The men moving were very kind, friendly, considerate and patient. They worked so well with each other. The wrapping of the items amazed us and we appreciated the act of protecting the items. Professional and respectful movers - local move in Surrey
Even though we only had an in-town move, we had a full house and needed professional help. Our entire experience, from the consultation, to the packing, moving, and unpacking was up to our expectations. We have moved a few times in the past and knew what to expect. The crews that helped us this time were among the best. Nothing ever goes perfect during a move, but the team was professional, and respectful of our things and our time. I cannot praise the moving team highly enough - move in North Van
We had a short move within North Van. The amount of furniture was limited but Arlene took the time to come and carry out the pre-move survey. She did the survey very professionally and went out of her way to investigate if there were other opportunities regarding dates and potential other small moves within the area to help us out. The team that arrived to move us were nothing short of fantastic. From putting down matting to make sure that they didn't mark the floors to wrapping the furniture they carried out the work quickly and professionally. The new property has an extremely steep driveway but the team that carried out the move, on a very hot day, shifted the furniture effortlessly and rebuilt the large pieces of furniture quickly and with good cheer. I cannot praise the moving team highly enough. The only regret I have is that I did not make a note of their names so I am unable to mention them by name.

The best move of my life - Moving from Surrey to Vancouver Island
We recently had Highland move us from Surrey to Vancouver Island. Right from the start with the estimator Arlene, the Staff were all professionals. The foreman/driver Mike and his loading crew were excellent and packaged everything with care and left a tidy house when all loaded. Mike and the unloading crew were also great and made short work of delivering all the boxes to their locations and setting up the major furniture. This was the best move I have had and would highly recommend Highland Moving.

Level of service beyond expectations - moving from Storage to Abbotsford home
I had used Highland a couple times for projects at work.
We were in a situation where we sold our home and in the process of looking for another. Highland scheduled our move 5 weeks in advance and arrived at exactly the time they said they would be there. The crew was polite, courteous and professional. They took care of our belongings. It made us feel comfortable with the thought they would be storing our contents for a period of time.
There was a little hick up in the scheduling of the move back, we had a morning appointment but they did not arrive until the afternoon. I must say the crew they sent was absolutely amazing. (Two young men and a young lady whose names have slipped my memory) I thought they would have a hard time providing the level of service we received during the move out, was I wrong! Their level of service greatly surpassed our expectations. They emptied the truck within a few hours, put everything in the locations they belonged to, they set up our furniture beds , tables, desks etc. They totally made up for the scheduling mishap. These 3 members of your staff truly made our experience great. They went above and beyond. I would recommend Highland to anyone considering using a moving and storage company. I would certainly use them again.

We did a complex move with Highland in summer 2021 involving a move to a long-term storage facility plus a move to Highland's short-term storage warehouse and then about six weeks later a move back from Highland's warehouse to our new house. We had quotes from three companies, and while Highland's was not the lowest price, I had more confidence in their estimator Arlene and her quote than I did with the quotes from the other companies. Highland's crews were very professional and did an excellent job for us, especially crew boss Troy. If we move again (please god no!) we will use Highland.

It could not have been done any better - Moving locally, in Langley
The move was very well organized and timed well. We recently moved and hired Highland Movers to do our local move, it goes without saying that we did our research and got a few quotes on Movers. Arlene visited our place (with COVID Protocols followed of 'course) and gave us the most reasonable quote. She was professional and prompt with her responses.
We moved on the Hottest weekend in July ,which definitely made it challenging for them. Not only that, the 'Kirkland Crew' from there company took the time to pack each of our furniture items neatly taking care of the walls and the floors. We did have 1 bed assembled loosely which they took the time to reassemble. They were also very honest about 1 of our chest of drawers and bed chipping some items but we knew it was old and has finished its lifespan so to say (IKEA). All in we are very pleased with their service and are hoping to use them again when we need to move. Thanks!

Not only that, the 'Kirkland Crew' from there company took the time to pack each of our furniture items neatly taking care of the walls and the floors. We did have 1 bed assembled loosely which they took the time to reassemble. They were also very honest about 1 of our chest of drawers and bed chipping some items but we knew it was old and has finished its lifespan so to say (IKEA). All in we are very pleased with their service and are hoping to use them again when we need to move. Thanks!

The team arrived on time and were very organized, efficient, and pleasant. Thank you Jordie, Anthony, Kevin, and Rodrigo. Thrilled with the experience - Local move in Maple Ridge
I am so glad that I called Highland Van and storage. We were up against a wall with our move with having only 1 day to move everything. Phone consultation and all interactions a very pleasant experience. The guys that did our move wrapped and treated every piece of our heavy furniture with great care as it was going into storage. A lot of our pieces were very heavy but they lifted it all with great care and no complaints! They even delivered a heavy plant to a friend's place. Great guys.

Bottom line for Highland Service was 10/10. Arlene was very efficient in assessing our situation via zoom and giving us a written estimate. And our actual cost came in less than the quote. The quality of the work was excellent. Charice and Jim were an efficient and speedy packing team. Tory, Gabe and Justin moved everything efficiently the next day. And Jordie came the following day to help unpack the kitchen. All teams were punctual and efficient. They had good packing and moving equipment and worked well together. Great moving experience! Arlene at the office was so helpful getting everything booked, especially over Zoom during the pandemic. She accurately estimated our home move needs and our final price was exactly what we were quoted which was much appreciated. Fantastic Crew - Last Minute Move in Surrey, BC
From the virtual estimate to the end of the move the staff were very professional and pleasant. The move was booked with very short notice but went very smoothly. The 3 young gentlemen were fantastic as they even helped us to pack up some of the stuff that was left. They laid down runners in the new home to keep the floors clean. They took apart our beds and reassembled them at the new house. They were also very careful so they didn't damage anything. I would definitely recommend and reuse them in the future should the need arise.
